Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony

The Lions Club of  Riffa held a ‘green  planting’ event at the Pakistan Urdu School. Seventy-one bougainvillea trees and manure were supplied by the club and students from Grade 4 to 12 took part in planting them, who  were also given the responsibility of watering and caring for them. Pakistan Urdu School pupils excel in exam

STUDENTS of Pakistan Urdu School have excelled in the HSSC I annual examinations.

Officials said 174 pupils appeared in the examination, 83 from the science group and 91 from commerce. Pass percentage in the science group was 83 per cent for girls and 62pc for boys and in commerce 67pc for girls and 36pc for boys.

A TOTAL of 169 students from the Pakistan Urdu School have received the results of their annual Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) examinations.

The total pass rate for the pre-medical group was 53 per cent with Junaid Ahmed coming first in the boys section, Adil Mohammed Rafiq and Saad Aslam coming joint second and Mohammed Rashid coming third.
